What’s new!

New Features:

  • Improved Work location landing page:
    • Manage approvals for your work location.
    • Generate certificates for users within your work location.
    • View and export enrollment report for your work location.
  • Admin Search:
    • Tired of scrolling to find that admin tool or setting.  Ascriptica added a new search feature to surface the tool or setting you are trying to find.
    • Begin typing the name for the tool or config module you would like to find and Ascriptica will present you with the closest match.
  • LDAP Based Security control:
    • If your organization uses LDAP aware directory/identity management, we can control the security using your existing groups.
    • Control roles centrally vs through every application provider in your ecosystem.
    • You will be able to control what roles a user is assigned to from the identity management application and Ascriptica will obey it as if those roles were assigned directly in the application. Simply map your groups to the appropriate roles in Ascriptica and we will handle the rest.
  • Google Calendar Sync (Pending approval from Google):
    • We’ve kicked our Google calendar connection up a notch. We’ve allowed users to sync their personal Google calendars with course events. This update will automatically adjust the user’s calendar if a course they have elected to sync has a date and/or time change.
    • This new feature will require users to provide Ascriptica with the permission to update their calendar if there is a change in the course date and/or time.
    • For those sites still on premise this feature is not available to you given Google’s requirements.

Improvements and Tweaks

  • New Course Manager API allows you to export all courses so that you can share course information with outside entities. Please contact support@pgctechnologyservices.com to get an updated copy of our API documentation.
  • Made it easier to restrict an entire district without having to add each school one at a time.
  • Provide the district approver with the ability to export all records that meet the filter criteria so that they do not have to page through and select records per page.
  • Resolved “No Show” statuses not showing up when looking under course history section of the user manager.
  • Resolved Follow-up method not obeying the disabled flag.
  • Improved Paypal standard integration to allow consistent capture of payment record even if the user does not return as expected back to Ascriptica at the end of the payment record.
